The Migration Certificate Program organised by the Global Migration Research Center (GAUM) of our university with the collaboration of KAS Turkey (Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung) and Migration and Integration Center (TAGU) of Turkish-German University took place between 16th and 20th of December.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Walter Glos (KAS, Director), Prof. Dr. M. Murat Erdogan (TAGU, Director), Prof. Dr. Ali Danışman (ASBU, Vice-Rector), Prof. Dr. Şebnem Akçapar (GAUM, Director), and Mr. Atay Uslu (MP and Head of the Subcommittee on Migration and Integration of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey) addressed the participants. 

As part of the migration certificate program, distinguished academicians from various universities of Turkey, members of the civil society and experts gave seminar lectures on different aspects of migration drawing from the Turkish and European experience. The program also included fieldtrips to some community centers and screenings of movies on the phenomenon of migration. At the end of the program, certificates were handed to the participants who have successfully completed the program.
